To say that there was nothing usual about this project for the PICCO Engineering stone engineering team is a vast understatement. With no single piece of stone identical to the next, the open, unsealed joints required special anchoring design solutions, while integral glazing systems challenged constructability. The Jerusalem Limestone façade required intricate fabrication drawings and the large cavity space required the use of steel struts and heavy gauge connections. This distinctive building owes its acclaim and many awards, in part, to the innovative and inspiring facade that defines it.
